Instructions

The Voyager is equipped with the accurate and reliable Japanese made VK64 mecha-quartz chronograph movement.

WHAT IS A MECHA-QUARTZ MOVEMENT?

Mecha-quartz is a hybrid movement where the timekeeping function of the watch is powered by quartz technology while the chronograph function is powered by a mechanical module. This gives it a smooth sweeping like motion of the central chronograph seconds hand along with a snap-back style return to zero when resetting the chronograph.

FUNCTIONS

Setting the time:

1. Pull out the crown (3 o'clock position) to the second click position.

2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hand.

3. Check that AM/PM is set correctly by looking at the 24-hour sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position.

4. Push the crown back in all of the way.

Setting the date:

1. Pull out the crown (3 o'clock position) to the first click position.

2. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.

3. Push the crown back in all of the way.

DO NOT change the date when the hands are between 9 PM and 3 AM as it may not change properly. If you need to change the date during this time please first change the hands to a time outside this range and then set the date before resetting the hands back to the correct time.

Using the inner rotating bezel:

The inner rotating bezel can be used to track a second timezone. You may use the applied indices at each hour marker to read the current time and then rotate the inner bezel to your second desired timezone and read that time using the bezel.

1. Rotate the crown at the 10 o'clock position either clockwise or counterclockwise to the desired position.

Using the chronograph:

1. Start the chronograph by pressing the upper pusher. The chronograph hands will start moving.

2. Stop the chronograph by pressing the upper pusher again. The chronograph hands will stop. This indicates the elapsed time. The elapsed seconds are on the large central seconds hand and the elapsed minutes on the sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position.

3. Reset the chronograph to "0" by pressing the lower pusher.

Using the tachymeter scale:

The tachymeter scale is used to determine a speed based on travel time or to measure distance based on speed.

Measure speed: Start the chronograph at the beginning of a one kilometre or one mile distance. Stop the chronograph at the end of this distance. Where the large central seconds hand points to on the tachymeter scale indicates your speed.

Measure distance: Start the chronograph at the beginning of the length that you would like to measure. Travel at a constant speed. When the large central seconds hand points to your speed on the tachymeter scale this will indicate one unit of distance (either kilometres or miles) has been reached.

Water Resistance

The Voyager watch has been tested for water resistance and is safe to wear in a swimming pool. Please ensure that the crown is completely pushed in and that you do not activate the chronograph pushers. It is advised for longevity to not wear the watch in a hot tub, shower, or in saltwater.

Battery Replacement

With normal use of the watch the battery should last around 2 years (extreme temperatures may alter the battery life). If the watch begins to run slow this means that it's time to replace the battery.
